Our purpose is to investigate animal cruelty and neglect and to perform related duties to promote compliance with laws regulating animal treatment and Town Ordinances. We also find homes for healthy unclaimed or surrendered animals. Many of these animals deserve a second chance to find a loving "forever" home.
The mission of the Lyman Animal Shelter is to become a value to our community by bringing a powerful and positive image to responsible pet ownership.
