At Lyman Animal Shelter we strive to bring our animals in need closer to you. We have strays, abandoned, or surrendered animals of all kinds looking for a forever home with you. For being such a small community, we have such an astonishing number of animals in need. Rather you find it in your hearts to provide a home, volunteer your services or a donation of money, please realize these animals need shelter, food, companionship, love, and above all a second chance.
On average we house 30 animals at any give time. Sadly, we are not a "no-kill" shelter and regretfully are not able to sustain animals for a long period of time.
We care for our animals to the best of our ability, but what they truly need is a family of their own. Please come in today and see if your four-legged friend is ready to go home with you!
